100A EASTRON SDM630-MODBUS V2 ENERGY METER FOR SELF-CONSUMPTION APPLICATIONS OF ICONICA GRID-TIE HYBRID INVERTERS

Product Description

The SDM630-Modbus V2 energy meter measures and displays the characteristics of single phase two wires (1p2w), three phase three wires (3p3w) and three phase four wires (3p4w) supplies. It features a highly visible LCD and a user-friendly navigation menu to display the measured voltage, frequency, current, power and imported/exported/total energy. The energy is measured in terms of kWh and kVArh.

This energy meter is typically used in conjunction with the RS-485 Modbus card to easily integrate an Iconica grid-tie inverter into an existing household power system and to efficiently set up the self-consumption function to control power generation and battery charging of the inverter.

It supports a maximum direct connection of 100A, which means that you do not need to connect an external current transformer for this energy meter to operate. This makes it cost effective and less complex to use than other energy meters.

The built-in interfaces provide two pulse outputs, one of which is configurable, indicating the real-time energy measurement, and an RS-485 Modbus output for communication using the Modbus RTU protocol.
